Position

Chief Officer

Requirements

Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency

Minimum 2 years experience as Chief Officer on Oil/Chemical Tankers

Proven experience handling IMO II and IMO III cargoes

Strong experience with Stainless Steel tanks (cargo operations, cleaning, maintenance)

Valid STCW certificates (including Advanced Oil & Chemical Tanker Training)

Good knowledge of cargo planning, stability, and safety management systems

Good command of English (written and spoken)

Medical fitness as per STCW

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for cargo operations, including loading, discharge, tank cleaning, and cargo care

Supervision and maintenance of cargo systems and stainless steel tanks

Ensuring compliance with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISGOTT)

Training and supervision of deck crew

Maintaining safety, environmental, and operational standards onboard
